swissmiss : this is a swiss designer who has moved to NYC. this is a lovely site with some great posts. oddly enough, one of my teachers mentioned this site today.
cool finds : if you look past the advertisements, this site has some great stuff on it. i love the most recent post, the drip table.
80 design links : this is on outlawdesign’s blog page. i spent forever just clicking on these links. i found bad ass ideas from this page.
pedestrian typography : we recently did an assignment in typography collecting images of environmental type. this blog is run by carolyn sewell and is completely devoted to found typography.

hello, my name is whitney. this is my first blog. i am a graphic design student and i have opened this blog to discuss design in this world. without great design, i would surely perish. it is a diet that i require. wouldn’t you rather eat a deliciously fresh and moist cupcake over a stale saltine? mostly i am excited about linking and talking about exciting sites that i find, but i also look forward to discovering what others have found. there is a lot going on in the world of design right now, lets see what’s cooking.
